This first UK exhibition features 250 artefacts that narrate Marilyn Monroe’s life story, showcasing items belonging to the iconic actress herself. Moss collaborated with Kilimanjaro Live, Studioshaw, and Mitre and Mondays, focusing on sustainability by employing a diverse array of eco-friendly materials, including Honext board, a carbon-negative option.
The installation used high-tack vinyl, tensioned fabrics, and heritage boards to augment displays effectively. Bollard covers promoted the event outside, while a stylish ‘walk of fame’ added glamour with anti-slip laminate. Entrance to the exhibition is marked by a large tension fabric graphic, welcoming visitors into the world of Monroe.
Installation was complex, requiring scaffolding and coordinated efforts from six installers to ensure smooth execution.
