Kazakh Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, is presenting the ‘Study in Kazakhstan’ initiative, which aims to solidify the nation’s status in the international academic landscape. The establishment of local branches of prominent British universities, such as Coventry University and Heriot-Watt University, is expected to improve academic standards and promote the globalisation of higher education.
“This is the first time Kazakhstan is participating in one of the world’s largest educational exhibitions… These achievements demonstrate the international recognition of Kazakhstan’s education system and its openness to the world,” said Sayasat Nurbek.
The National Pavilion features six leading Kazakh universities alongside Coventry University Kazakhstan and Heriot-Watt University. Other participating institutions include Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Nazarbayev University, and Atyrau Oil and Gas University, emphasizing Kazakhstan’s commitment to engaging in international educational partnerships.
