Odd Crew has released acoustic versions of ‘New Waters’ and ‘Farewell’ from their album Dark Matters. These recordings were made at ButcherHouse Studio and accompany a video by Petar Dimov. The band will be touring soon in Bulgaria and has rescheduled a show in London for May 24th.
Bulgarian progressive rock band Odd Crew has released acoustic versions of two tracks, ‘New Waters’ and ‘Farewell’, from their Dark Matters album series. This marks their first acoustic releases since 2019’s The Lost Pages. Recorded at their ButcherHouse Studio, the new versions offer a fresh perspective and are accompanied by a video directed by Petar Dimov, who has collaborated with the band on all previous Dark Matters visuals.
“As a band we’ve always loved to get an acoustic guitar and just sit, play and sing. A lot of our songs have started this way and Dark Matters is no exception. Now we get to experience some of those songs as if we’re on a desert island at night just waiting to be saved,” the band expressed about their creative process. The Dark Matters Acoustic Sessions emphasize Odd Crew’s artistic range, presenting their music in a stripped-back format that fosters deeper connections with fans.
The acoustic versions arrive just in time for Odd Crew’s upcoming tour in Bulgaria and a rescheduled show at Downstairs at The Dome in London on 24th May, featuring special guests MAB. Fans can explore highlights from Dark Matters – Part III and view additional content on the RAMzine website.
Odd Crew’s acoustic releases showcase their musical versatility and invite listeners to engage with their art on a more intimate level. The updated tour dates and new acoustic tracks offer fans a fresh experience of the band’s evolving sound.
