Jordanian food companies will showcase their products at the IFE 2025 in London, marking their debut at this international exhibition. This event aims to promote Jordanian food exports and increase their visibility in the UK market, benefiting from the presence of a significant Arab community and recent trade agreements.

Jordanian food companies will gain a significant opportunity at the International Food and Drink Event (IFE) 2025 in London, which starts on Monday. This will mark Jordan’s first participation in the three-day exhibition, featuring 1,500 exhibitors and attracting around 30,000 global buyers from over 105 countries.

Ahmed Khudari, chairman of the Jordan Exporters Association, emphasised the importance of this event for promoting Jordanian food exports and increasing international market presence. He stated that the IFE provides a platform for showcasing various products, including desserts, baked goods, spices, and nuts, particularly benefiting from the growing demand in the UK for foods from Arab nations.

The British market presents a sizable opportunity due to its large Arab community, enhanced by the free trade agreement signed between Jordan and the UK in 2021. Khudari noted that IFE 2025 would support Jordanian businesses in networking and addressing economic challenges through expanded exports.

Increasing Jordanian exports could help stimulate local production, support industrial growth, and attract new investments, generating job opportunities and strengthening the country’s trade balance. Recent data shows the trade exchange between Jordan and the UK reached approximately 303 million Jordanian dinars, with exports accounting for 62 million dinars.

Jordan’s participation in IFE 2025 is a pivotal moment for its food sector, presenting a platform for showcasing products and expanding market reach. The UK market, coupled with favourable trade agreements, offers lucrative opportunities for Jordanian companies, aiding economic growth and addressing local challenges.
