The TCS Mini London Marathon, celebrating its 40th anniversary, anticipates about 17,000 children participating in a one-mile event, indicating a growing trend in youth involvement in running.

From a modest 6,255 participants in 1981, the London Marathon now includes diverse groups, aiming for inclusivity with more women and varying backgrounds, making it the most inclusive event yet. Brasher noted, “Our ambition is to make the TCS London Marathon the most inclusive marathon in the world.”
