HOFA Launches Digital Art Awards in Partnership with PhillipsX

HOFA Gallery, in conjunction with PhillipsX, announces the Digital Art Awards to honour artistic innovations at the intersection of art and technology. The ceremony, set for 15 May 2025, features four categories, with significant prizes, aiming to showcase the future of digital art.

HOFA Gallery launches the Digital Art Awards in partnership with PhillipsX, celebrating digital art’s intersection with technology, including AI and generative media. The awards will occur on 15 May 2025, with categories for Still Image, Moving Image, Innovation, and Experiential, followed by a public exhibition in London from 16–22 May 2025.

This inaugural ceremony highlights the importance of digital art, showcasing artists redefining visual culture through innovative collaborations. Twenty international finalists, selected for their creativity, will compete for $10,000 USDC commissions for new artworks, judged by experts in art and innovation.

Prominent figures in digital art, like Sarah Meyohas and Sougwen Chung, are among early applicants, demonstrating the awards’ high-profile interest. Phillips will host an exhibition featuring winners and selected finalists, illustrating innovative developments in digital art.

Building on the success of HOFA’s SPACES exhibition series, the awards support artists working at the intersection of art, science, and technology. Winners will join a programme showcasing new works at exhibits and collaborations. The awards are funded by Hivemind Capital Partners’ Digital Culture Fund, alongside partnerships with ApeChain and Amina.
