The Retail Technology Show (RTS) 2025 welcomed over 14,000 retail professionals at ExCeL London, marking an 11% increase in attendance vs. last year. This two-day event showcased 438 technology innovators, positioning itself as a premier gathering for retail executives, with 81% of attendees holding senior roles. An impressive 89% of exhibitors have already rebooked for RTS 2026, highlighting the event’s significance and positive reception.

Speakers like Penny Grivea from Rituals and Maria Hollins from Ann Summers recognised the importance of RTS in keeping retailers competitive, with Grivea stating it helps them stay “relevant”. Prerana Issar from Sainsbury’s emphasised that technology is integral to retail today, merging the two sectors seamlessly: “It isn’t possible to talk about retail without talking about technology.”

The conference featured presentations from leading figures in retail, including M&S’ Archie Norman and Theo Paphitis, fostering a sense of unity within the industry. Kate Hardcastle MBE noted that RTS serves as a crucial meeting point for technology and retail collaboration: “the Retail Technology Show has become a beautiful meeting point where technology and retail converge.”
