UK Construction Week (UKCW) London is set to welcome back Sicilian high-end interiors at its pavilion, following a successful debut in 2024. From May 7-9, the ExCeL London will host 16 renowned Sicilian companies showcasing products ranging from marble surfaces to decorative paints, and windows. A Sicily-themed hospitality area featuring coffee and pastries will also be part of the pavilion’s attractions.

Among the participating companies is Marco Arena Design, recognised for over two decades for its exquisite ‘made in Italy’ furniture. Another is Colorificio Atria, a leading paint manufacturer boasting 1,650 dealers worldwide for their sustainable products. Then there’s Settipani Srl, a marble producer since 1967, and Romano Pavimenti, a family business renowned for its tiles and passionate artisanship since 1899.

Cullaro Design, with a legacy of over 50 years in crafting wooden and aluminium windows and doors, will also be present. The Assessorato Attività Produttive di Sicilia remarked how vital the UK market is for Sicilian enterprises, emphasising the strong reputation Sicily holds in the interior design landscape built on rich traditions and quality.

Their marble, for instance, is acknowledged globally, merging beauty with practical characteristics sought in construction. Sam Patel, Director of Global Markets at Media 10, expressed excitement over Sicilian craftsmanship, calling it a significant enhancement to UKCW, affirming the event’s international appeal.

UKCW London stands as the UK’s largest event for the built environment, addressing the entire construction supply chain. It plans to unfold with a robust speaker programme featuring over 400 speakers across 300 sessions, including high-profile figures like Alison McGovern MP and Tom Copley, the Deputy Mayor of London.

After a noteworthy debut at UKCW Birmingham in the previous October, Onsite On Hire returns to exhibit the latest in tools and equipment specifically for the hire industry at this London event. It’s the first standalone exhibition for the Stone Show & Hard Surfaces, aiming at a broad audience from architects to installers, also highlighting fresh product innovations.

The Offsite Show will continue its sustainable technology focus in 2025, gathering visitors keen on offsite construction solutions. Additionally, HVAC+R will premiere in London for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration, linking companies to housebuilders and local authorities, crucial for modern construction needs.
