Exciting News from Holiday Automotive: A New Reconditioning Centre on the Horizon

2 min read

Holiday Automotive is pleased to announce the commencement of construction on a new state-of-the-art reconditioning centre, which promises to be a game-changer for vehicle enthusiasts. The 18,000-square-foot facility, located at the northeast corner of Rolling Meadows Drive and Scott Street in Fond du Lac, is expected to be completed by late summer.

The primary purpose of this facility is to prepare pre-owned vehicles for sale at all four Holiday showrooms on Rolling Meadows Drive. This will be achieved through the efforts of a dedicated team of 20 technicians, a fully-equipped parts department, and additional reconditioning support staff. The goal is to improve the overall customer experience by addressing repair and maintenance needs more efficiently and streamlining the used vehicle reconditioning process.

According to Holiday President, Mike Shannon, “The new building will provide our guests with top-notch service, while also optimizing our vehicle reconditioning operations.”

The site for this facility was purchased by the company in 2019, where a vacant lot and the former home of Buffalo Bill’s Saloon and Club Fond du Lac once stood. The excavation work is being led by Baumhardt Sand and Gravel, with C.D. Smith serving as the general contractor. All parties involved are working diligently to ensure that the project is completed by late summer.

In other news, the Fond du Lac area will soon welcome a play cafe by the name of “Wonder” in the downtown area. This establishment is designed to provide a fun and explorative environment for children, while also offering a variety of coffee options for the adults.

We are optimistic about the positive impact that both of these ventures will have in the Fond du Lac area and commend Holiday Automotive for their commitment to enhancing the automotive experience for their customers.
