Metropolitan Community College’s Automotive Program Earns Prestigious National Accreditation

Metropolitan Community College is pleased to announce that its automotive program has attained accreditation for Master Automobile Service Technology, the highest level of program accreditation acknowledged by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

Following a comprehensive assessment by the ASE Education Foundation, the college’s automotive training program has exhibited excellence in key areas such as instruction, facilities, and equipment, meeting nationally accepted standards of quality.

“This accreditation is excellent news for young people with a passion for automotive work and their parents,” stated Michael Coley, President of the ASE Education Foundation. “By fostering closer collaboration between local educational institutions and industry leaders, this program ensures that MCC graduates will be well-prepared for entry-level technician positions. Subsequent to the thorough evaluation process, MCC has effectively upheld its accreditation by the ASE Education Foundation. As an independent non-profit organization, the ASE Education Foundation evaluates and accredits entry-level technician training programs according to standards established by the automotive industry.
