Sprout Social Elevates Alan Boyce to Chief Technology Officer

In a recent announcement, Sprout Social, Inc. has disclosed that Alan Boyce has been elevated to the esteemed position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As the newly appointed CTO, Boyce will assume responsibility for supervising the global technology, engineering, IT, and compliance divisions at Sprout Social.

Aaron Rankin, the Co-Founder of Sprout Social, has conveyed his unwavering confidence in Boyce’s capacity to steer the company towards greater heights. Rankin remarked, “Alan is an outstanding leader and has merited the opportunity to guide Sprout forward as CTO. Alan has been pivotal to Sprout’s innovation and success over the past decade.” Rankin will continue to lend support to the executive team and the strategic direction of the company and will retain his position on Sprout Social’s Board of Directors.

Boyce has been an indispensable member of the Sprout team since 2010, joining as the inaugural platform engineer subsequent to the founding team. Over a span of thirteen years, Boyce has played a pivotal role in the evolution of Sprout’s platform and has been instrumental in cultivating an award-winning R&D culture. In 2017, Boyce was promoted to Senior Vice President of Engineering, assuming responsibility for leading Sprout’s global engineering organization and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team.
