Willis Lease Finance Appoints Brendan Curran to Board of Directors

Willis Lease Finance, an expert in commercial aircraft engine leasing and aviation services, has officially announced the appointment of Brendan Curran to its board of directors, effective from Jan. 1.

Bringing nearly forty years of experience in the aerospace industry, Curran possesses extensive knowledge in engine and airframe segments, as well as in business and operations leadership, engineering, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and global business development.

Currently serving as an operating resource and advisor to ATL Partners, a private equity firm in New York, Curran also holds the position of chairman of the board of Aero Accessories, an independent component maintenance facility based in Miramar, FL. His leadership roles include senior executive positions at public companies such as Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines, Boeing Global Services, Bombardier Services, Crane Aerospace & Electronics, and Hamilton Sundstrand.

In light of Curran’s appointment, director Hans Joerg Hunziker has submitted his resignation from Willis Lease Finance’s board, with his resignation set to take effect on Dec. 31.
