Introducing the New Fitness Hub in Dubagga, Lucknow: Prioritizing Health and Wellness

In an effort to promote a culture of health and fitness in the community, the district administration of Dubagga, Lucknow has formally inaugurated the ‘New My Gym’. This modern fitness centre, unveiled by Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Kaushal Kishore, is an integral component of the ‘Khoob Khelo Khoob Badho’ initiative—an ambitious programme by the state government aimed at fostering physical fitness and nurturing sporting talent across Uttar Pradesh.

Prioritising Fitness and Well-being
The opening of the gym follows Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s recent address at the women’s half-marathon in Uttar Pradesh, where he emphasized the importance of physical fitness. The district administration is dedicated to establishing fitness centres and gyms in various zones and gram panchayats, with the ‘New My Gym’ serving as a testament to this initiative.

A Comprehensive Fitness Destination
Under the management of Mohammad Javed, the newly unveiled gym covers an impressive 2,500 square feet, housing a diverse range of 30 top-tier fitness machines tailored for both cardio and strength-building workouts. The facility also offers invigorating Zumba and aerobics classes, with plans to recruit additional trainers in line with the increasing membership.

Affordable Memberships for Inclusive Fitness
In an effort to encourage widespread participation, the gym has introduced subsidized membership fees. Fitness enthusiasts can enroll in a three-month membership at Rs. 3,500, a six-month package at Rs. 6,000, or an annual membership at Rs. 9,000. Furthermore, the gym administration has hinted at the introduction of more attractive schemes in the future, ensuring that fitness remains accessible and affordable for all.
