Magewell’s New Collaboration with Q-SYS Technology Partner Program

Magewell, a technology company, has officially announced its collaboration with the Q-SYS Technology Partner Program. This program is specifically designed to facilitate software and hardware technology partners in the development of cutting-edge solutions that seamlessly integrate with Q-SYS, a cloud-manageable audio, video, and control platform.

A major milestone in this collaboration is the Q-SYS Control plugin for Magewell’s USB Fusion video capture, mixing, and presentation device attaining Q-SYS Certified status. This marks a significant achievement in the partnership and is now available for download through the Q-SYS Designer Asset Manager in Q-SYS Designer Software.

The USB Fusion hardware from Magewell, coupled with its accompanying app, provides a sophisticated platform for users to merge various sources such as cameras, wired or wireless screenshares, and media file sources into visually striking live presentations. These presentations can be used for streaming, live event production, online lectures, webinars, video conferencing, and other applications. Users have the flexibility to seamlessly switch between sources or combine inputs into aesthetically pleasing scene layouts.

The initial release of the Magewell USB Fusion plugin for Q-SYS provides support for basic source switching and scene layout capabilities. Additionally, it replicates all functionality available through the front-panel buttons on the USB Fusion hardware within the Q-SYS Designer Software. Plans are also in place to incorporate support for additional USB Fusion features in a future update of the plugin.
