A new food market is poised to open in Caerphilly, providing a distinctive container-style community-focused experience. Ffos Caerffili will be home to 28 units for food and drink operators, independent shops, and workspaces. The market will also feature an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining, music concerts, and community events.
The grand opening of Ffos Caerffili is scheduled for Friday, March 15, with plans for live music and various activities to celebrate the occasion. The market is set to bring together familiar faces from Caerphilly, including traders from the old market in Pentrebane Street.
Among the traders announced, Cath and Paul Livermore from Up Market Family Butchers will be opening a fishmonger, while childhood friends Daf Carter and Ian Butterworth are set to launch a new coffee and brunch venture called Two Shot Social. Additionally, visitors can look forward to Californian and Mexican inspired street food from vendors Bab Haus.
Expressing their excitement for the upcoming launch, Cath and Paul said, “Ffos Caerffili is the ideal place to launch a new side to our business. The opening of the market gives the town we love so much a fantastic opportunity for a bit of a fresh start. We’re really excited to join forces with so many other local businesses and bring something new to Caerphilly.”
The introduction of Ffos Caerffili is a welcomed addition to the community and a great opportunity for local businesses to showcase their offerings. The diverse range of traders promises a dynamic and vibrant market that will undoubtedly attract residents and visitors alike.
