IIT Bombay’s Entrepreneurship Cell Hosts Annual Summit for Startups

The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Bombay is pleased to announce the upcoming E-Summit’24, which will be held on the 3rd and 4th of February. This annual flagship conclave is dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and creating job opportunities for budding entrepreneurs and startups.

This year’s summit boasts a diverse range of events, including “The Ten Minute Million,” where startups have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to 16 investors for funding of up to INR 2.4 million. Additionally, the “Seed Stars” segment will pair seed-stage startups with experienced mentors, and the “I Summit” will offer a fast-track incubation program for startups. Attendees can also look forward to networking opportunities with industry leaders at the “Networking Arena” and explore the “Startup Expo,” which will showcase a variety of ventures. Workshops covering Neuromarketing, AI & ML, and Digital Marketing are also scheduled.

E-Summit’24 will feature a lineup of over 80 speakers, including renowned figures such as Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder & CEO of Ola Cabs, Rajat Sharma, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief of India TV, Niranjan Hiranandani, Founder & MD of Hiranandani Group, Abhi & Niyu, Forbes 30 under 30 content creators, Sanjeev Kapoor, Celebrity Chef and Entrepreneur, and Raghav Bahl, Founder of The Quint & Network 18. Additional prominent personalities are expected to be announced leading up to the event.

Contrary to common perception, E-Summit is not exclusively for startup founders. Students with a passion for business can participate in various competitions such as the IPL Auction, Leader’s Quest, Bid & Build, Corporate Duel, Fish Tank, and Ace the Case, with the opportunity to win prize money exceeding ₹1 lakh. For finance enthusiasts, there’s also a chance to test their skills in a Virtual Stock Market, while those interested in diplomacy and international leadership can explore Entre-MUN.
