EY Appoints Mark Clephan as New Head of Corporate Finance for UK & Ireland

EY, a multinational professional services firm, has recently appointed Mark Clephan as the new Corporate Finance Leader for the UK and Ireland. Mark, who has been a member of the EY team since 2001, will assume the role previously held by Fraser Greenshields, who served as the Corporate Finance team leader for seven years. Fraser will be transitioning back to his role as a Partner, focusing on real estate, hospitality, and construction sectors.

Mark Clephan currently holds the position of M&A Partner at the EY Manchester office and also leads the North Corporate Finance team. With 25 years of industry experience, he has worked with various Private Equity houses, listed and private companies, and numerous entrepreneurs.

EY’s Corporate Finance team offers a wide range of transaction advisory services to assist companies in making strategic decisions. These services encompass business valuations, capital market transactions, financial modelling, deal structuring, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and providing advice on joint ventures and alliances.

In response to the appointment, Silvia Rindone, UK&I Managing Partner for Strategy and Transactions at EY, expressed her confidence in Mark, highlighting his extensive sector and regional experience.
