Siemens Smart Infrastructure is preparing to present its latest range of cutting-edge and sustainable products, systems, and solutions at the upcoming Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) trade show. This event, scheduled to take place in Milan, Italy from March 12 to 15, is expected to bring together companies and industry experts from the HVACR, renewable energy, and energy efficiency sectors.
One of the main attractions at Siemens’ exhibition will be the MVL702 magnetic expansion valve, specially designed for use in heat pump and chiller applications. This product offers an instantaneous and precise response, ensuring system stability for commercial heat pumps and chillers, while delivering high energy efficiency with an annual energy saving potential of up to 14 percent for end customers. It also provides increased heating capacity for OEMs, with up to 21 percent more capacity compared to stepper motor technology, leading to significant energy savings and improved sustainable operations.
Furthermore, Siemens will be unveiling the Climatix system, as part of the Xcelerator digital platform, designed to provide efficient and sustainable equipment automation for residential HVACR applications. The new Climatix S400 controller offers native cloud connectivity for remote access, enabling complete transparency and fast, cost-efficient reactions for OEMs and installers.
Henning Sandfort, CEO of Building Products at Siemens Smart Infrastructure, expressed the company’s enthusiasm about participating in MCE 2024, emphasizing the urgency of taking action in terms of energy efficiency, particularly with buildings accounting for 40 percent of global energy consumption. The Siemens booth in Hall 5 will showcase additional solutions, including a plug-and-play HVACR system for small- and mid-sized buildings to reduce heating and cooling costs, as well as building automation technologies addressing CO2 reduction challenges.
