Investment Boosts Data Protection Specialist in Bradford

ProvePrivacy, a data protection company based in Bradford, has recently received a substantial financial injection from Finance Yorkshire. This funding will enable the company to expand its client base and improve its digital platform.

The secure digital platform developed by ProvePrivacy is designed to help data protection and information governance professionals effectively manage compliance within their organizations.

The £74.2k investment from Finance Yorkshire’s business loans fund has empowered ProvePrivacy to enhance its marketing efforts and attract more clients from both the public and private sectors. Additionally, the investment will facilitate further improvements to the platform.

Mark Roebuck, the founder of ProvePrivacy, drew from his background in data protection consultancy to create the platform. He recognized the need for a solution to assist organizations in handling and overseeing data protection compliance.

Mark’s experience in advising on GDPR and witnessing organizations strengthen their systems to address GDPR-related risks led him to focus on data protection expertise. The platform supports organizations in data management, risk assessment, and compliance demonstration, streamlining processes and enabling users of all skill levels to complete necessary tasks.

Following a successful proof of concept at Bradford City Football Club during the Covid-19 pandemic, Mark is dedicated to product development and expanding marketing efforts, particularly within the private sector. Finance Yorkshire’s investment has provided the means to achieve these goals, as well as ongoing development and enhancement of the platform’s features in line with data protection requirements and user needs.

Alex McWhirter, chief executive of Finance Yorkshire, commended Mark for leveraging his extensive experience in data protection to create an intuitive product that meets the needs of organizations where the use and governance of personal data is crucial.
