Ian De Vlieger has been appointed as the new Director of Enterprise Technology Services at Nine, where he will report directly to Chief Information and Technology Officer, Memo Hayek. In his new role, he will have the responsibility of overseeing the IT service management, digital workplace/end user compute, and applications support teams.
Prior to joining Nine, De Vlieger has held significant IT positions at renowned companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Coca-Cola Amatil, Ausgrid, Wesfarmers, and Qantas. Hayek has praised De Vlieger’s outstanding leadership abilities, highlighting his proven track record in leading teams to deliver innovative IT solutions and achieve optimal commercial results. According to Hayek, De Vlieger’s extensive experience in diverse IT environments across various industries, including aviation, energy, FMCG, and managed services, will greatly benefit Nine. Additionally, his customer-focused approach in developing and implementing IT strategies will be a valuable asset to the company.
