The CMR Institute of Technology recently hosted an exhibition known as Techno-Meet for Society 2024 in commemoration of National Technology Day. This event provided a platform for both students and faculty to showcase more than 100 innovative projects, each aimed at addressing pressing societal challenges.
The array of innovations on display included a solar-powered robot, AI-enhanced sericulture tools, a bluetooth-controlled robot, advanced water purification devices, and aids for the visually impaired. These pioneering solutions were designed to tackle issues within the fields of robotics, farming technology, and water purification.
A particular highlight of the event was the projects focused on enabling individuals with disabilities to actively engage in gaming by simulating physical movements through gestures.
Dr. KC Ramamurthy, former Rajya Sabha MP, Chairman CMR University and CMR Group of Institutions, emphasized the significance of initiatives such as Techno-Meet. He emphasized that the exhibition not only showcases the institute’s commitment to technological advancement but also nurtures innovative leaders who will drive societal progress in alignment with the ethos of National Technology Day.
The event served as a true testament to the potential of technology to address real-world challenges and make a positive impact on society. With its focus on innovation and societal development, the CMR Institute of Technology has set a strong example for educational institutions across the nation.
