Synergy Logistics Promotes Brian Kirst to Chief Commercial Officer

Synergy Logistics, a leading warehouse technology company, has recently announced the appointment of Brian Kirst to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, a strategic move in response to the company’s rapid expansion. Synergy Logistics is widely recognized for its cutting-edge cloud-based SnapFulfil warehouse management system (WMS) solution.

With an extensive background spanning 30 years in supply chain, logistics, and digital technology, Kirst has played a pivotal role in the company, previously overseeing all customer-facing aspects of the business in North America. In his new capacity as Chief Commercial Officer, Kirst will now lead all Sales, Marketing, Support, and After Sales initiatives on a global scale.

Prior to joining Synergy in early 2022, Kirst co-founded and launched two highly successful 3PL order fulfillment companies, Total Reliance in 2014 and Resurge in 2019, both of which experienced substantial growth with the support of Synergy’s adaptable SnapFulfil WMS.

This restructuring has also led to Smitha Raphael, Chief Product & Delivery Officer, taking on a more expansive global role overseeing development services and implementation teams. Both Kirst and Raphael directly report to Synergy Logistics Chairman, Hugh Stevens.

Stevens expressed his confidence in Brian Kirst, emphasizing his strategic alignment, leadership, and decision-making prowess. “Brian is the ideal fit for this crucial role. As a fellow owner, operator, and entrepreneur, our strategic views align. I also appreciate his leadership and decision-making style. He identifies opportunities quickly and seeks to make an immediate impact,” said Stevens.

Kirst aims to leverage his extensive industry expertise to help customers maximize the potential of Synergy’s advanced software, identifying value drivers and driving revenue and profitability across various industries and sectors.

In his own words, Kirst stated, “My focus will be on expanding and evolving with our existing customers, as well as developing further enterprise-level business, as our highly adaptable WMS and multi-agent orchestration solutions become increasingly relevant in today’s automation-driven supply chains. This includes executing on our ambitions of offering a fully global and consistent product, with recent implementations in Asia and South America, complementing our established track record in North America and EMEA.”

In addition to its cloud WMS, Synergy Logistics also offers SnapControl, a multi-agent orchestration platform (MAO) that offers a device-agnostic, unified approach to automation. With these innovative solutions and the appointment of Brian Kirst as Chief Commercial Officer, Synergy Logistics is well-positioned for ongoing growth and success in the evolving landscape of warehouse technology and management.
