Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) also took center stage in the Dream Garden, featuring immersive experiences from brands such as TAG Heuer and RIMOWA. These technological advancements aim to elevate the customer experience and establish a deeper connection to the brand’s universe.

Furthermore, LVMH took the opportunity to announce the extension of its strategic partnership with Alibaba, with the objective of further enhancing the luxury experience in China through omnichannel, technology, and data solutions driven by AI.

The second day of VivaTech was dedicated to startups, with the prestigious LVMH Innovation Award being presented to seven promising startups. FancyTech, a Chinese startup, received the top prize for its innovative use of GenAI to create immersive videos and digital experiences.

The award ceremony, attended by Bernard Arnault and other top executives of the LVMH group, underscored the shared values of creativity and excellence between LVMH and startups. The partnership and collaboration between LVMH and startups play a pivotal role in driving innovation within the luxury industry.

The event also featured inspiring talks from industry leaders, such as Sephora CEO Guillaume Motte and Sophie Brocart, CEO of Patou, who discussed the importance of sustainability and traceability in the fashion industry. Moreover, the Maison of All Victories in The Dream Garden showcased the collaboration between LVMH and Paris 2024, providing an immersive 3D platform to explore the partnership’s various dimensions.
