Jet-Setting Gangland Enforcer Ordered to Pay Back £3,000 Blackmail

A gangland enforcer known as ‘Chop, chop’ who loved to show off his extravagant lifestyle has been told to cough up £3,000 after extorting money from an innocent mother while chasing her ex’s £15,000 drug debt. Sebastian Jones, a burly 35-year-old, turned up at the victim’s house with another thug and demanded the payment, threatening violence if she didn’t comply. The terrified victim managed to scrape together £1,000 and borrowed £2,000 to meet their demands. Jones, who runs a driveway firm in Oldham, Greater Manchester, has now been ordered to repay the money or face more time behind bars. This comes after his infamous escapade of breaching Spanish police checkpoints to take selfies near an erupting volcano. Jones later claimed they were trying to rescue stranded dogs. He has a history of flaunting his luxurious holidays and unusual pets on social media. Last year, Jones was sentenced to 24 months in prison for blackmail, while his accomplice Christopher Swift received 27 months. Swift has been ordered to pay back a nominal £1 as he has no assets. Jones admitted that he had crossed a line by going to the victim’s home but denied any physical aggression during the encounter. The court has determined that there is money available from Jones’s matrimonial home to compensate the victim.
