Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: NatWest Grants £10,000 to Incubation Nation

NatWest has recently announced the allocation of a substantial grant in the amount of £10,000 to Incubation Nation, a community interest company dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs in Milton Keynes and its surrounding areas. The founder, Sam Poole, is deeply committed to providing women with the essential tools and resources required for success in the initial stages of their business endeavors.

This grant, which is part of Small Business Month, will play a pivotal role in offering comprehensive business planning and development support to 100 local women entrepreneurs in the South East Midlands. This will enable them to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into successful and sustainable ventures.

Debbie Lewis, the Accelerator Manager at NatWest, has expressed the bank’s dedication to supporting women-led businesses and their joint mission with Incubation Nation to empower women entrepreneurs to thrive in the business world. The grant exemplifies NatWest’s commitment to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit and ensuring that women have access to indispensable tools and mentorship for success.

Incubation Nation intends to utilize the grant funds to provide individualized business planning sessions for each participant, as well as monthly accountability, training, networking, and 30-day review sessions. The objective is to equip women with the essential skills and resources to bring their business ideas to fruition.

Founder of Incubation Nation, Sam Poole, has articulated that the company’s aim is to provide foundational support to women entrepreneurs who possess the drive, inspiration, and creativity to establish a business. The grant from NatWest represents a significant stride towards realising this objective, and the company is eagerly anticipating the positive impact it will have on the participants.

Incubation Nation’s approach to supporting women entrepreneurs encompasses individualized business planning, ongoing training, and a robust support network. The programme has been specifically tailored to address the unique challenges that women encounter in the start-up phase and to guarantee a solid foundation for long-term success.

It is encouraging to note that in 2023, NatWest supported over 45,000 individuals and businesses through their enterprise programmes, including the free Accelerator programme. Last year, their business support specialists delivered over 300,000 interventions, with 55% of this assistance being provided to women.

The grant serves as a testament to the commitment of NatWest and Incubation Nation towards empowering women entrepreneurs and ensuring that they receive the necessary support to flourish in the business world. With this generous funding, Incubation Nation will continue their vital work of providing women entrepreneurs with the tools, guidance, and encouragement required for success.
