One such remarkable individual is Susann Agwanjan, whose career trajectory has been truly extraordinary. She commenced her employment with the company in 2011 as an office communications administrator, eventually transitioning to Telekom Service, and presently holds a pivotal role at the Fiber Factory, which is responsible for spearheading fiber-optic build-out across Germany.
When queried about her initial entry into Telekom Technik, Susann disclosed that it was a close friend and mentor who encouraged her to transition from her previous role to the company. Despite not having a technical background, she swiftly adapted herself to the intricate production processes, expanded her professional network, and quickly found her niche in the Fiber Factory. After gaining invaluable experience in the western branch, she sought further career advancement and assumed the position of functional leader of the management support department. In this capacity, she offered steadfast support to the Head of the Fiber Factory, recognizing the strategic insight needed to make decisions for such a substantial division.
Now, having recently returned to the western branch, Susann has embraced her new role as a team leader with enthusiasm. Managing a team of approximately 20 fitters in and around Cologne, she patiently awaited the opportune moment to undertake her first solid-line management position, all the while preparing diligently through advanced training courses. Her unyielding dedication and determination have unquestionably borne fruit, and she is appreciative of the steadfast support and empowerment she has received throughout her tenure at Deutsche Telekom.
Reflecting on her professional journey thus far, Susann conveyed that she would not alter a single thing. Her approach to decision-making, which combines analytical assessment with intuition, has played a pivotal role in shaping both her professional and personal development. Despite numerous relocations and a long-distance relationship, she asserts that every experience has ultimately led her to where she is today—a place of fulfillment, purpose, and self-discovery.
