Celebrating 500 Episodes of RV Lifestyle Podcast with Mike Wendland

Renowned RV lifestyle blogger and podcaster, Mike Wendland, and his wife Jennifer are marking a significant milestone this week with the launch of their 500th RV consumer podcast on Wednesday. After retiring from a successful career in mainstream journalism in 2012, Wendland began focusing on the recreational vehicle sector, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the North American RV retail marketplace.

After purchasing a Class B motorhome, the Wendlands embarked on a journey to explore the American countryside, ultimately leading to the creation of their highly-regarded coverage of the RV retail marketplace. Their podcast covers a wide range of topics, including full-timing tips, new and used RV buying advisories, campground etiquette, retirement insights, and advice on encounters with bears, among others.

In a recent press release, the Wendlands revealed that they have released over 500 episodes, including a series of special on-location podcasts from RV shows, rallies, product announcements, and other events. The couple, who reside in southern Michigan when not travelling, are eager to share the story of their podcast’s inception and provide insights on their future plans in the upcoming episode to be released on Wednesday.

In addition to the podcast milestone, the Wendlands have also published their 22nd eBook titled “The Ultimate Guide to Exploring the Bourbon Trail,” documenting their enjoyable trip through rural Kentucky. The eBook includes recommendations for great campgrounds, restaurants, attractions, and Bourbon distilleries, highlighting the region’s prominence akin to California’s famed Napa County for wine.

In their twelfth year of RV lifestyle blogging, the Wendlands, along with their Norwegian Elkhound Bo, spend about half to three-quarters of their time in a Keystone Montana High Country fifth wheel. They are committed to creating valuable content for their audience of approximately a million regular followers, who engage with their blogs, videos, books, newsletters, and other media platforms.

Among their wide-reaching platforms, the Wendlands have a YouTube channel with around 185,000 monthly subscribers, a Facebook RV Lifestyle Group with some 400,000 members, and 50,000 followers on Instagram, as well as a presence on other social media platforms.

As RV enthusiasts, the Wendlands have influenced and inspired countless individuals, offering valuable insights and experiences that have resonated with their vast audience. With the 500th podcast episode and the release of their latest eBook, they continue to make significant contributions to the RV community, solidifying their position as prominent figures in the industry.
