We are currently seeking an experienced Internal Quality Assurer to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving quality improvement activities within the automotive sector.
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include providing internal verification and assessment, preparing learners for EPA (End Point Assessment), and ensuring a high percentage of higher grades. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies, maintaining high standards across all delivery and assessments, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback.
Furthermore, the role will require you to standardize QA processes, analyse EPA outcomes, and identify trends and risks to inform improvement activities. It is essential that you are able to verify assessment decisions, provide constructive feedback to colleagues, and coach them on compliance requirements.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must hold an A1 / V1 Assessor Award, have Functional Skills Maths, English, and ICT Level 2 (or equivalent), and possess a relevant occupational qualification in Heavy and/or Light Vehicle. Additionally, experience in delivering successful apprenticeships and managing efficient assessment processes is required, along with relevant occupational sector experience and/or current updated CPD.
In terms of logistics, candidates should be willing and able to travel throughout the UK, possess a full valid driving license, and be open to overnight stays as required. The role is full-time, offering 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with the flexibility of hybrid working and regular travel to Derby Academies near Pride Park.
