Santander UK has recently enhanced its real estate finance team with the addition of Allan MacKenzie in the role of senior relationship director for real estate. MacKenzie brings over 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance sector, making him a valuable addition to the team.
Before joining Santander, MacKenzie held key positions at Lloyds Banking Group, including head of commercial real estate for Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man, as well as managing director of commercial real estate and housing for Scotland, North of England and Midlands.
Reporting directly to Nick Peet, the divisional head of real estate finance based at the Manchester offices, MacKenzie will be responsible for overseeing a significant portfolio of the bank’s existing clients within the commercial real estate sector. His role also includes contributing to Santander’s growth strategy in the North West of England and nationally.
In his endorsement of MacKenzie, Peet expressed confidence in his extensive experience and connections within the commercial real estate sector, particularly in the North West. These attributes are expected to be crucial as the bank continues to focus on its growth strategy within the real estate finance team.
The addition of Allan MacKenzie significantly strengthens Santander’s real estate finance team and enhances the bank’s capacity to meet the diverse needs of its clients in the thriving commercial real estate sector. With steadfast and reliable leadership, Santander is well-positioned for success as it pursues further growth in the North West and nationwide.
