Empowering the Next Generation of Female Engineers in Africa

Qore, a distinguished banking-as-a-service platform in Africa, has established a partnership with the Nigerian University of Technology and Management to organize an event aimed at inspiring young female secondary school students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

The primary objective of the event was to commemorate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) 2024, under the theme “Engineering a Better Tomorrow.” The event was meticulously planned to highlight the impactful contributions of female engineers in enriching lives and businesses, aligning with the broader INWED theme of “Enhanced by Engineering.”

Qore has unequivocally displayed its dedication to inspiring and empowering the next generation of female leaders in STEM by providing students with the opportunity to engage with female engineers at Qore, as well as with current and past students of the Nigerian University of Technology and Management who are making significant strides in the industry.
