Euroclear, a prominent financial services company, has recently appointed Stuart Cornock as the new senior manager of the Financing and Collateral Business Development department at its London office.
With over 20 years of experience in the securities finance industry, Cornock will assume responsibility for delivering sales and relationship management services for collateral-related solutions in his new position.
His extensive background encompasses roles in both London and Singapore, where he has acquired valuable expertise in stock loan trading, sales and relationship management, and regulatory reporting. Prior to joining Euroclear, Cornock held the position of director of origination at Pirum for nearly a year. Before that, he served as director of market intelligence at S&P Global and as a director at IHS Markit for several years.
Cornock’s finance career commenced in 2000 as a new issues clerk at Clerstream, where he progressed to become the GSF product manager, followed by GSF sales, and eventually assumed the role of sales and relationship manager.
Expressing his eagerness for his new role at Euroclear, Cornock remarked, “I’m very much looking forward to working with existing and new clients as we grow the footprint of the suite of financing and collateral products.”
