Brooklyn Man and Montreal Residents Charged with Illegally Exporting Technology to Russia

The accused individuals are Salimdzhon Nasriddinov, Nikolay Goltsev, and Kristina Puzyreva. They’re facing charges of smuggling, conspiracy to violate sanctions, and wire fraud conspiracy. Nasriddinov, a Russian-Tajikistan national, was nabbed in Brooklyn, while Goltsev and Puzyreva, who are Russian-Canadian nationals, were arrested in a Manhattan hotel during a visit to Nasriddinov. The prosecutors are pushing to keep them behind bars until the trial, claiming that they’re a flight risk due to their strong ties abroad.
