With more remote workers coming to the city, there’s a cool knowledge transfer happening. These workers bring in new skills and ideas that can benefit the local workforce through training and collaboration. Some even end up finding jobs locally or starting their own businesses. ChaTech’s main mission is to unite Chattanooga’s tech community and boost the regional economy. They connect people, businesses, and resources to make it happen. They want to develop the current and future workforce to meet the industry’s needs in the fast-paced tech world. Technology changes every day, so they’re working hard to stay ahead and provide education and information to keep businesses competitive. They offer career fairs, mentorship opportunities, and training events like Scenic City Summit and DevOpsDays. They also have initiatives like STEM for Her to empower women in science and tech careers. ChaTech also organizes networking events so members can connect and get a better understanding of the city’s tech scene.
