UF Unveils Cutting-Edge Hall for AI and Data Science

The University of Florida recently opened Malachowsky Hall for Data Science & Information Technology, a state-of-the-art facility designed to advance AI and data science education and research. The $150 million, seven-story building will serve as a hub for computing, communication, and cyber technologies, and support UF’s efforts to integrate AI across the curriculum. With support from NVIDIA and its co-founder Chris Malachowsky, UF is leading the way in AI education and workforce development. The hall will house various UF entities, including the OneFlorida+ Clinical Research Network and the Biomedical AI Collaborative, and provide innovative spaces for virtual reality, robotics, and cybersecurity.
