Tech Talk: Protecting Democracy in the Digital Age

Hey guys, guess what? There’s a super cool event happening in Paris on November 9th! They’re talking about using technology to protect democracy, which is a pretty important topic, especially with all the elections happening around the world. They’re bringing together politicians, business leaders, and journalists to discuss how we can use technology to make democracy stronger. The event is being hosted by Julien Pain, a journalist from Franceinfo, and it’s going to be livestreamed from the Palais Brongniart, where the Paris Peace Forum took place in 2023. Some of the big names attending include Ian Bremmer, the President and Founder of Eurasia Group & GZERO Media, Eléonore Caroit, the Vice-President of the French Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Maria Ressa, the Co-Founder and CEO of Rappler, and Brad Smith, the Vice Chair and President of Microsoft.
