A Powerful Voice for Palestinian Solidarity

Hey there, so I just got back from this book launch event at the Sharjah Book Festival, and let me tell you, it was something else. Ramesh Chennithala, you know, the former leader of opposition in Kerala Assembly, was there and he had some real talk to share. He was talking about this book called ‘Palestinile Nilavilikal: Paschimeshyan Velluvilikal’ (Wails in Palestine: West-Asian Challenges) by Mansoor Palloor. Chennithala was all about how this book is a powerful expression of Palestinian solidarity, especially from a Congress perspective. And let me tell you, the suffering of the Palestinian people is no joke, it’s been going on for over seven decades and it’s a real concern for peace advocates all over the world. The event was pretty cool, with Shani Mol Usman, Y A Rahim, Mahadevan Vazhasery, and Mansoor Palloor himself speaking. Chennithala even handed over a copy of the book to United Democratic Front convenor M M Hassan. It was a real eye-opener, you know, and it’s great to see people coming together to shed light on such important issues.
