Atlanta Hawks Hosted an Epic Event for Entrepreneurs to Win Big

1 min read

The Atlanta Hawks recently hosted a super cool event for entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas and win a whopping $10,000 at the State Farm Arena. The event, called ‘Pull Up & Pitch’, was put together by The Black Girl Ventures Foundation (BGV) and the NBA Foundation. It was open to all US-based registered Black & Brown Founders, small business owners, and entrepreneurs. The goal of the Black Girl Ventures Foundation is to hook up Black/Brown woman-identifying founders with community, capital, and capacity building to help them reach business milestones and make some serious money through entrepreneurship.

Over 100 entrepreneurs got the chance to pitch their business in a fast-paced, question-and-answer competition. They had just 60 seconds to deliver an elevator pitch and score some grants to boost their businesses right then and there. The ones who made it to the final round got three whole minutes to pitch their business plans. How awesome is that?

And guess what? We’ve got the photo gallery and the winners for you below!
