The Planeta family, known for their whimsical vineyards and properties, gained global recognition when their Sciaranuova estate was featured in the HBO series “White Lotus.” This led to a surge in turnover and presence on Etna, prompting the family to create a “White Lotus” tour for fans of the show. Francesca Planeta, the chairman of Planeta Estate, shared that the scene in the series brought them international publicity and doubled their turnover and presence on Etna. The family-run company owns wineries in Menfi, Noto, and Etna, offering the beauty of Sicily’s countryside and the stunning backdrop of the Etna volcano. They take pride in their 17 generations of winemaking heritage and their commitment to producing fine wines. The family’s journey in wine production began in the ’80s when Diego Planeta sought to ennoble Sicily’s wine production, focusing on quality over volume. Today, they produce a variety of wines, infusing them with light and rejuvenating new varieties. Meanwhile, executive chef Elio Sironi and the creative directors of Dsquared2, Dean and Dan Caten, successfully launched Ceresio 7, a hotel, restaurant, and poolside bar in Milan. The establishment has become a popular spot for the fashion industry, offering a great hotel experience and relaxation. Sironi, who has worked with renowned chefs and in the fashion business, emphasized the importance of comfort and feeling at home at Ceresio 7. The spa at Ceresio 7 has also made a mark in the Milan circuit, offering a range of treatments and relaxation options. Sironi expressed the hope that customers would stay all day and feel pampered at Ceresio 7.
