Ananya Panday Nails a Tough Yoga Move, Sets Impressive Fitness Goals
When it comes to staying fit, we all love to see what our favorite celebs are up to. Some are all about yoga, while others swear by clean eating and hitting the gym. And of course, their trainers love to show off their progress on social media.
Recently, Anshuka Parwani, a top yoga instructor and wellness guru to Bollywood stars, was spotted helping Ananya Panday with a seriously challenging yoga move.
In a video posted on Instagram, Panday was seen taking on and mastering her first chakrasana walkover. Parwani, who shared the video, said, “The walkover is one of those drills that work most of the major muscle groups while opening up the heart and throat chakras.”
She added, “Sure, it can be scary at first, but trust me, once you conquer your fear (like most backbends), you won’t be able to stop at just one.”
In the video, the ‘Gehraiyaan’ star rocked a white sports bra and black shorts, placing her feet on the window sill and using the wall for support, all while resting on a yoga mat. With Parwani’s guidance, she lifted her upper body off the mat and placed her palms invertedly on the mat. Then, she slowly raised one leg and, with Parwani’s help, executed a slow backflip.
After that, she curled up in a foetal position, bringing her knees close to her face for a breather.
