Mitel Appoints Luiz Domingos as Chief Technology Officer

In a recent announcement, Mitel, a prominent player in the field of business communications, has designated Luiz Domingos as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Head of Large Enterprise R&D. With a background in leading global R&D teams and driving high-quality product launches, Domingos has proven himself in the industry over the past two decades. His previous role as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Unify allowed him to manage the complete portfolio and develop disruptive cloud solutions, further enhancing his expertise in the field.

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitel, Tarun Loomba, expressed his confidence in Domingos, stating that his knowledge and experience will greatly contribute to integrating emerging technologies into Mitel’s world-class portfolio. Domingos holds a dual bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from Parana Federal University UFPr in Curitiba, Brazil, and has completed executive education from INSEAD Paris. He also holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and has several patents with the US Patent Office in his name.
