Yamaha, the renowned Japanese brand, has inaugurated the inaugural Yamaha Lifestyle Mall at Auto-City Juru in Prai. This pioneering mall brings together Yamaha Motor, Yamaha Marine, and Yamaha Music in a single location, spanning an impressive 12,000 square feet across a two-storey building.
The mall features an exhibition floor on the first level, dedicated to showcasing Yamaha motorcycles, merchandise such as helmets and jackets, and marine engines. Visitors will also have access to a VIP music lounge and studios equipped with top-of-the-line Yamaha musical instruments, audiovisual systems, soundbars, and headphones. Additionally, the mall will accommodate the northern region’s first Gen Blu Cafe outlet, a Yamaha music school, and an after-sales service centre.
Justin Chuah, the Managing Director of Hong Bee Motors Group, conveyed his confidence that the Yamaha Lifestyle Mall will revolutionise the Yamaha experience for customers and serve as a hub for those who share a passion for the brand. The Hong Bee Motors Group exclusively deals in the full range of Yamaha models manufactured by Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd. Tim Hoo, the General Manager of Hong Leong Yamaha Motor’s 3S & Marketing, emphasized the significance of understanding and surpassing the evolving needs of customers with exceptional customer service, high-quality genuine products, and excellent after-sales services.
The grand launch of the Yamaha Lifestyle Mall was attended by Penang local government committee chairman H’ng Mooi Lye, who lauded the event as a noteworthy milestone. Other esteemed guests included Hong Bee Group director Poh Soon Terng, Distributors Group managing director Joel Chuah, Hong Leong Industries Bhd group managing director Prof Datuk Dr Jim Khor, as well as senior executives from Yamaha Motor Company Ltd Japan and Yamaha Music Malaysia.
As part of the launch event, a generous RM5,000 cheque was presented to the Friends of Childhood Cancer (Foccan) in support of their cause. Furthermore, the public had the opportunity to explore the lifestyle mall during a customer day, featuring booths from Yamaha Marine, Shell, Foccan, a merchandise truck, promotional games, and complimentary services.
