Voting for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year People’s Choice Award 2024 is underway, inviting global audiences to select their favourite photo from 25 shortlisted images. The contest promotes awareness and appreciation of wildlife, reflecting significant environmental themes. The winners will be revealed in February 2025, and public voting concludes on 29 January 2025.

Wildlife enthusiasts worldwide can now vote for their favourite entry in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year People’s Choice Award 2024. Featuring 25 stunning images, including a honey badger hunting and a beluga whale exfoliating, the selection illustrates nature’s beauty and the wildlife challenges we face. These photographs were shortlisted from over 59,000 submissions by an international panel at the Natural History Museum in London. Public voting is available online and at the museum until 29 January 2025, with winners to be announced in February 2025.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, which has been running since 1965, is renowned for its celebration of nature through photography. Organized by the Natural History Museum, London, this year marks its sixtieth anniversary. Participants are encouraged not only to engage with stunning wildlife images but also to think critically about conservation and environmental issues depicted in these works. The People’s Choice Award allows a global audience to participate in the selection process and appreciate the artistic representation of wildlife.

Voting for the People’s Choice Award is open until 29 January 2025, showcasing the intricate relationship between wildlife and conservation through powerful imagery.
