The Royal Drawing School in Shoreditch showcases over 500 contemporary drawings from its students in a free exhibition. This year-end exhibition is part of The Drawing Year, a prestigious postgraduate programme, and features a diverse range of two-dimensional artwork. It runs until 18th December 2024 and includes pieces available for sale, reflecting the talent nurtured by the school.

More than 500 contemporary drawings created by students from the Royal Drawing School are currently on display in Shoreditch. Part of their postgraduate-level course, The Drawing Year, this exhibition showcases the culmination of intensive observational practice from approximately thirty selected students, chosen from over 500 applicants. With a diverse range of styles and scales, the exhibition highlights the talents of emerging artists and features works that are primarily two-dimensional and suitable for wall display.

Visitors can view various artworks, from small pieces to large installations, including a prominent red portrait echoing Jonathan Yeo’s recent work. The exhibition decorates every wall of the drawing school’s venue, catering to a variety of tastes, and will remain open until 18th December 2024. Entry is free, with viewing hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm, and Saturday, 10am to 4pm.

The exhibition is hosted at the Royal Drawing School, where all collected artworks are available for purchase, priced between £70 and £4000.
