Noteworthy awards were given, including a best poster prize to Katie Webb’s team for their innovative approach to managing non-complex pelvic floor conditions, and the inclusivity prize awarded to Juliet Albert for her work addressing FGM in healthcare. Professor Caroline Alexander provided a keynote, reflecting on her 37-year career and emphasizing the necessity of creating roles that leverage researchers’ expertise within the NHS. The symposium included workshops on crucial research-related topics, enhancing the quality of NHS services through evidence-based practice.
