Exeter Gallery features shows by Jane Davis Copp and Barbara London this December. Copp’s “Evergreen” highlights landscapes and supports climate action, while London’s “Outside the Lines” focuses on personal expression through abstraction. Their works will be displayed from December 4 to 29, with a reception on the 13th.

This December, the Seacoast Artist Association’s Exeter Gallery showcases two exhibits from established artists Jane Davis Copp and Barbara London. Copp’s exhibit, titled “Evergreen,” features landscape paintings that symbolise the urgency for climate action. Her sales will support the Nature Conservancy of New Hampshire. In contrast, London presents “Outside the Lines,” where she explores self-expression and abstraction through an improvisational approach in her watercolours and mixed media. Both artists invite viewers to connect with nature and emotion through their work. The opening reception occurs on December 13 from 5-7 p.m., with shows running until December 29.

The Seacoast Artist Association, based in downtown Exeter, promotes local artists by hosting monthly exhibits. December’s featured artists, Jane Davis Copp and Barbara London, have distinct styles and messages in their work. Copp focuses on climate change through landscape art, while London experiments with abstraction and self-expression, merging their influences from various aspects of life. These exhibitions aim to engage the community through art and environmental awareness.

The Exeter Gallery’s December showcases by Jane Davis Copp and Barbara London provide a rich exploration of environmental themes and personal expression through art. Copp encourages climate awareness with her landscapes, while London invites artistic freedom through abstraction. The upcoming reception will foster community engagement, enhancing the appreciation of local artistry.
