Massive Attack has been confirmed as the headliners for LIDO 2025 in London, marking their first performance in the city in nine years. Scheduled for June 6 at Victoria Park, the band’s set will be powered entirely by batteries in partnership with clean energy provider Ecotricity, significantly cutting carbon emissions and local air pollution.

Joining Massive Attack will be the renowned electronica duo Air, along with acts such as Tirzah, Yasiin Bey, and the Alchemist. More support acts are expected to be announced soon.

Tickets will be available for general sale on February 21 at 10 am (GMT) via LIDO’s official website, with a pre-sale starting on February 20 for newsletter subscribers.

Last year, Massive Attack staged significant climate action shows, including the UK’s largest low-carbon gig in Bristol and another in Liverpool featuring IDLES and Nile Rodgers & Chic.

Band member Robert Del Naja (3D) expressed enthusiasm for LIDO’s 100% battery-powered festival, noting the amalgamation of art and science can help tackle critical challenges. He emphasised the responsibility of clean productions for festivals, benefiting both music enthusiasts and local communities.

Massive Attack will headline LIDO 2025 in London with a concert focused on sustainable practices. The event will feature multiple artists and aims to reduce environmental impact through battery-powered performances. Tickets will soon be available, and the festival is set to make a significant mark with its commitment to climate action.
