Frameless, an immersive art exhibition, will pop up at MediaCity from May to September next year in a 16,000 sq ft space, potentially attracting over 1,000 visitors daily, following the success of Van Gogh Alive.

Frameless, an immersive art exhibition based in London, is set to launch a temporary pop-up at MediaCity within a 16,000 sq ft space at Landsec’s Salford complex. Scheduled from May to September next year, this exhibition follows the successful Van Gogh Alive residency in the same location. The planning application has been submitted to Salford City Council, with expectations of attracting over 1,000 visitors daily during its run. Frameless aims to create an interactive environment showcasing renowned artworks, previously located at Marble Arch in London.

Immersive art experiences have gained popularity in recent years, drawing large audiences by providing engaging and interactive ways to experience art. Frameless, based in London, presents famous artworks in a unique format, marking a trend that began with exhibitions like Van Gogh Alive. MediaCity has become a hub for such experiences, reflecting a growing interest in art that transcends traditional viewing.

Frameless is poised to bring its innovative immersive art experience to MediaCity, following in the footsteps of other successful exhibitions. With a planned run from May to September, the exhibition is anticipated to draw significant crowds, further enhancing MediaCity’s reputation as a destination for cultural experiences.
