Hyve Group’s Pure London will co-locate with Moda and Spring Fair in Birmingham from February 2025, after merging with Just Around the Corner. Industry professionals are reassessing trade show strategies, with an emphasis on convenience and the need for integrated buying experiences. The aim is to attract more buyers and improve attendance.

Hyve Group has announced that Pure London will take place alongside Moda and Spring Fair at Birmingham NEC from 2-5 February 2025. This follows their acquisition of Just Around the Corner (JATC) in August 2023. As part of this integration, JATC will merge into Moda x Pure, consolidating fashion trade shows in a more central location. Tiffany Moore of Renes Fashion expressed her intention to explore this new setup despite mixed experiences at previous shows. Other industry professionals highlighted challenges and opportunities arising from the changes, including an increased focus on streamlined attendance and the need for trade shows to adapt to modern buying behaviours.

The fashion trade show landscape is evolving, with major shows merging to provide a unified buying experience. Hyve Group has strategically positioned Pure London to run alongside Moda and Spring Fair, aiming to attract more buyers and enhance footfall. This consolidation reflects the industry’s response to the changing ways in which retailers and buyers connect. Convenience and efficiency are becoming paramount, as buyers like Tiffany Moore reconsider their participation in multiple events.

The relocation and merger of key fashion trade shows aim to create a more integrated and accessible shopping experience for buyers. With industry professionals responding positively to the changes, there is an expectation that the consolidated event will enhance foot traffic and foster stronger buyer-agent relationships. Industry players are emphasising the need for trade shows to innovate and offer engaging experiences, reflecting the current dynamics of retail.
