The 2024/25 Formula E season will introduce Pit Boost technology, requiring mandatory pit stops for a 10% battery recharge. Pit Boost technology is set to make its debut in the 2024/25 Formula E season, marking a significant strategic shift in racing. After two years of development, drivers will be required to make a mandatory pit stop that provides a 10% battery recharge at 600kW over approximately 30 seconds. This innovation, designed to enhance race dynamics, was initially delayed due to safety and reliability concerns. The first implementation will occur during the double-header weekend in Jeddah on 14-15 February, followed by other significant circuits including Monaco, Tokyo, and London.
